Diva or Just Plain Demon?

How NOT to be a Terrifying Girlfriend

Diva: a distinguished female singer; prima donna, opera singer.

The phrase "prima donna" was once used to describe women who were in the music business, but these days it is thrown around with a negative connotation of power and selfishness, no matter what the occupation of the woman may be.

Though we recommend that all women feel empowered and confident, we certainly do not want a race of over-demanding, snotty, and selfish women ruling the world! Remember confidence is sexy, but cockiness is just, well, repulsive.

In a relationship, these qualities are even more awful, because the only thing worse than being with an arrogant person, is being that arrogant person. Beside looking a like a major snob, you may just lose your boyfriend if you over diva-fy yourself.
