Canadian rapper Drake is quickly soaring up the charts and is on his way to being number one. Aubrey Drake Graham was first known for his role as Jimmy Brooks in the Canadian TV series Degrassi: The Next Generation. His music career, however, has gained him much popularity recently. In June of this year, Drake was signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment label officially.

The 22-year old entertainer is only the second artist ever to have both of his first two songs hit the top ten on the Billboard charts in the same week with the songs “Best I Ever Had” and “Every Girl”. His highly anticipated first album Thank Me Later is due out early next year. Talented actor, talented singer and talented rapper? It seems as if Drake has it all, and it will be exciting to see what he does next.
